SCARS Vehicle Fundrasier!

Our current transport van is in rough shape and we’re in need of a new one!

A Lifeline on Wheels: Our Goal
We’re launching a
n urgent fundraising campaign to purchase a new, dependable transit van equipped for animal rescue. Our goal is to raise $70,000 to cover the cost of the vehicle and necessary modifications for animal transport.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Homes Alive Pets, all donations made through August 2025 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000! This means your contributio
n will have double the impact, bringing us closer to our goal of getting a new rescue van.

Hi! I am Sadie. I am well behaved inside and so far have made no messes. I do need work on a leash, I pull a bit. I am great off leash and listen very well. I have been good with other dogs but can initially be afraid of them. I have lived with children and did well with them. I am nervous of new people though I do warm up quickly especially if you have a treat. I am VERY food motivated. I tend to be cautious of new things and think a confident male dog in the home would be great for me. I'm still a pup so have lots of energy and could use a little work on manners but I'm a very smart girl so learn quickly.
Thanks to Sanctuary Animal Sadie’s sponsor(s):

I'm a Sanctuary Animal

What's a sanctuary animal? Sanctuary animals are permanent wards of SCARS due to medical conditions or behavioral issues and we are not likely to ever find an adoptive family. SCARS is committed to giving these animals a home and the love, care and attention they deserve! We house them at our two main intake facilities. We look to businesses to sponsor Sanctuary Animals to help us offset the cost of housing them. Click here learn more about our Sanctuary Animals
Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
