Hello SCARS, This is Winston. We got him from SCARS five years ago. He was featured on the SCARS’ segment of Global TV Edmonton morning news one Saturday. When I heard the story they told, I knew that I had to have him. I sent in a request to adopt him that day. We met Winston that Monday and I think he went back for a night to SCARS then came to us.
Since then, he has been a great addition to our family going with us on trips and to my work. People love him when they meet him. He is friendly, gentle and wants to be petted. They are so surprised how friendly he and are very surprised he is a rescue dog. I get asked how did someone not want this dog. They love that he just leans on your legs to be petted. He loves his family and the other cats and dogs he lives with. He is so caring and loves it when I come home. He is super loyal too. If I don’t say goodbye when I leave the house, he will search high and low for me. He watches for me to come home every day. He loves to move shoes from the front door to somewhere else so you have to search for them. He never damages them. He only hides them so you cannot leave the house. He has been a great addition to our family.
