Laurie and Trevor recently celebrated their wedding day. They decided to ask their guests for donations to SCARS, and their guests responded by donating just over $1,200! We thank them all for their generosity!
Laurie and Trevor have acknowledged that part of the success of the donations was due to their venue Boot Scootin Boogie Dancehall and executive director Terry-Lynn Kuhl who promoted donations to SCARS via her Facebook page, website and provided photos of SCARS animals as well as containers to collect cash in at the venue. Without her, the fundraiser would not have been so successful.
