Hi my name is Mad Hatter, but also known as Barney at home. I am a sweet and very handsome boy around 10 months old. I am as tall and long as my foster sister and she is 73 lbs but I am very slim compared to her, Foster mom is feeding me well to put on some weight. But enough about my handsome physique. I came into care so very scared but after some time I began to trust again. Foster mom thought for sure my tail was going to be permanently tucked between my legs. I have a way to go yet with men, but I have met ladies and children and I warm up to them. Sorry men you may have to wait a little longer but I promise I will get better, I am already showing improvement (baby steps). I sleep all night with no accidents and will do my business outside. I haven't mastered the signals yet to be let out so you will have to be pro active. I am still a puppy and do puppy things. I am playful but not over the top, I can chill and love to cuddle too. I do very well on a leash and love gong for a walk every day. I am not afraid of outside noises like cars, buses and construction so that is a plus. I have been around other dogs and I am shy but I am non reactive. I have lots to learn still but with your patience and understanding that I am a work in progress, I will be the bestest boy as I am a quick learner.
