SCARS Vehicle Fundrasier!

Our current transport van is in rough shape and we’re in need of a new one!

A Lifeline on Wheels: Our Goal
We’re launching a
n urgent fundraising campaign to purchase a new, dependable transit van equipped for animal rescue. Our goal is to raise $70,000 to cover the cost of the vehicle and necessary modifications for animal transport.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Homes Alive Pets, all donations made through August 2025 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000! This means your contributio
n will have double the impact, bringing us closer to our goal of getting a new rescue van.

Hi there, my name is Grotto, but I also respond to my nickname Scooby. I am a special guy looking for a particular home. I have epilepsy and would do best in a home where I am around my people most of the time. I have not had a seizure in two months and am doing really well with medication. I may outgrow my epilepsy but I also may not. We simply don’t know at this time. I would love to meet those open to working with SCARS to learn all about my needs, which are not challenging at all.  I am a medium energy dog and an overall chill guy. I am a sweet and adorable larger pup who my foster parents call a lovable goof. I am curious about the world and I love to explore. I love to run around and then nap. I love my dog companions and am good with  the cats and I sometimes want to play with them. I walk pretty well on leash and love going to the off leash park where I like to greet everyone. I do best with canines and human companions who can keep an eye on me. I would love to meet you!
