My name is Gem and I am just as beautiful as the precious kind! I was found as a stray and I was severely emaciated. I have an ear tattoo so SCARS was able to find my owners but sadly they aren't allowed a cat where they are living now, so now I am on the hunt for my forever home. When I first came to the shelter, I was very shy and scared. But since then I have really come out of my shell and I love affection. I will rub all over you until you give me pets. I am still on the skinny side but I have gained a lot of weight since coming to SCARS. I don't mind other cats as long as they don't bother me too much and when they do, I will let them know with a little hiss and maybe a small swat, but I'm pretty gentle about it. Do you have a warm bed and yummy food for a sweet girl like me?
