Hello Everyone ! My name is Mellon and I have had a ruff little stint. I was previously adopted out then I was returned. My forever home went on to have kids and I struggled with the changes, so I was returned. I don't pee on things or destroy anything I just became irritated, and they didn't know how to deal with me and returned me to Scars. Once a Scars cat always a Scars cat. A wonderful way to avoid animals getting dumped or people having no options when life changes. I came into my foster home, and I was still a little out of sorts. I didn't want to be pet or held and I was being defensive for no reason. My foster mom had to leave me to settle down for a couple weeks before I snapped out of it. Being uprooted and moved around stresses me out. I have now settled down and love to be pet and don't mind being picked up. Instead of hissing at my foster mom I welcome her with rubbing up on her legs now. I have been able to get along with a couple other cats in my foster home with proper integration. I would also be wonderful as a solo cat. A home with low noise and no little kids would be best for me. If you have room for me in your heart and home, please apply today!
