Hi, I'm Monty and am pretty amazing for a young guy. I am housetrained and can sit, shake, laydown, stay and come on command. I enjoy being petted and hanging out with my humans. If there isn't much happening, I will occupy myself with toys - I really like the ones that I can chew or squeak. Being outside is awesome since I can play with my doggie foster sister, chew on sticks and enjoy the gorgeous fall weather. Evening wind down starts early and I can be found snoring on my pet bed after supper and I sleep in my kennel all night. My leash skills are developing and I need more practice when I see exciting things like dogs and bikes.

I love jumping into the car and heading on adventures. I've gone to patio restaurants, picnics and shopping at dog friendly stores. Swimming is interesting but I am going to stick with wading for now. Little people are great and I show my love with kisses and a bit of jumping so kids over 5 years old would be best. I can be a little stubborn so an experienced owner who can help me further understand and respect boundaries would be amazing.
