Hi, I'm Leona! I'm a bit of a shy girl but don't let that fool you because I'm very smart, or like my foster family likes to say, I'm a problem solver. If you sit on the floor and play with me my playful nature will shine through pretty quickly. You can also win me over with food, toys and a gentle approach. Like my sister, I'm a pro with peed pads, but my foster family is teaching me to go outside, along with other puppy basics. I briefly met the resident cat but I wasn't sure what to do so I ignored him. I do enjoy a good cuddle but I won't go out of my way to ask for one. I'm getting better at leash walking but I like to take my time to check out my surroundings. I'd probably do well in a home with older children as I run if people come at me too quickly. I paw-mise (promise) I am the sweetest girl who would bring you so much joy, I just need a family that's committed to helping me build my confidence.
