Hello there, my name is Ember! I came into SCARS care from a hoarding situation, and I'm still learning how it feels to be safe and cared for. Sometimes I still hiss at my caretakers, I've never scratched or bitten anyone, I'm just not used to people yet. I would do best in a home with adults only, or older children who can give me my space when I need it. Having another cat around would help me continue building my confidence, and I don't mind dogs either. Deep down I'm a sweet and loving boy... I just need a family who can help me come out of my shell. Are you willing to give me that chance?
