Hi! I'm Diggs! I was born at SCARS when my mom was rescued 6 months ago. I'm told I'm a shepherd mix and like a shepherd mix I am high energy, intelligent and loyal. I love being around my foster mom and dad, they are my favourite. I'm good with the resident dogs but it took me a little while to get confident enough to play with them. The big boy one is too rambunctious for timid little me but we're slowly becoming friends. I have started to develop a bond with my smaller foster sister, she's calmer and gentler and has taught me it's ok to play and I love running and wrestling with her in the big back yard. I'm a little shy at the dog park, all those dogs overwhelmed me, so I stuck close to foster mom. I love nothing more than to be with my foster mom and snuggle and have my belly rubbed. I'm crate trained but would prefer snuggling with you. A calm housemate is a better fit for me but have I mentioned I really love my humans so even if I don't have a housemate, I'll be happy because I'll be the centre of your world. I'm mostly house broken; I really need a solid potty schedule any deviation upsets my balance. I haven't been around cats or kids yet but I'm still young so I'm sure I can learn to love them. It took me a little longer than others to really decompress and show my funny, crazy personality to foster mom and dad so if you take me home, please be patient with me as I deal with the change. You'll see once I'm comfortable I'm the best, sweetest pup, at least that's what foster mom says.
