I'm Fifi! I had a hard start to life before I came to SCARS as a skittish and fearful nine-month-old - and some of this was explained when my foster mom took me in to get spayed and we found out I was pregnant! I've been an amazing and devoted mama to my four mushroom babies - Enoki, Shiitake, Button, and Portabella - but we are all ready to find our forever home now. Even though I am anxious and can get spooked easily, I am the sweetest girl imaginable. I might hide, but if you're patient with me, I can be lured out with soft voices and I absolutely LOVE being pet. I never bite or scratch, and I like to use my voice to tell you what I want - I chirp and meow lots to communicate with you! I like my foster mom and will often choose to lay next to her and purr while I get pets, but only one thing gets me to really come out of my shell - the companionship of another cat! I will either need to be adopted with one of my babies, or I will need to go to a household who has a cat who will groom, eat, and cuddle with me - I become a completely different cat when there is another cat I can follow around, and my confidence goes through the roof! I really love my feline foster brother but he's not too interested in me, so I'm hoping to find a family who has a cat who is craving a best friend. It's obvious that wherever I came from before SCARS rescued me, I found comfort in another cat, and even though I've spent the last ten weeks loving on my four babies, I'm ready to find a forever home with a companion cat who will love on me and help me feel safe. I can't wait to meet you and find out if I'm a good fit for your family.
