Hi my name is Richard, and I'm a big goofy guy looking for my forever home! When I first came in to care I was scared and confused and a bit overwhelmed. I quickly learned that the ladies at the Scars facility just wanted to take care of me and show me all the love. I truly don't know how big I am, and when I get excited I can become quite unpredictable with my energy. I can be a bit mouthy when I want to play, and because of how big I am it can be a bit overwhelming for all of us. My forever home will have to be one that is experienced with bigger breeds, and can focus on training me with mental and physical stimulation to properly dispel my energy. I get a bit overwhelmed when meeting new people, bur i am working hard with my trainers to learn that not everyone is bad and I don't have to overprotect my people. I may require several meet and greets before I know that I am safe around you. I am very food and treat motivated so working with me on that will be a must. I am house trained, I haven't had a single accident since I came in! I do walk really well on a harness and leash with hardly any pulling at all, however if other small animals are around I would likely try to chase them. I have done well sharing a fence with female dogs that want to play, but not male dogs. Cats don't seem to bother me at all. Do I sound like I could squeeze my way in to your life and on to your lap? If so, call my people and set up a meet and greet
