Hi, I'm Jenny, a 7 month old (as of 30 April '24), 55 lb and growing, bundle of energy. I'm a real sweetheart when I slow down and relax. I'm also very smart and good looking, if I do say so myself! In addition to being spayed, I've had all my shots and my vet says I'm super healthy, but need training for some kind of job, like tracking, retrieving, etc., to put my high energy to good use. I love to play, with people, other dogs, and even cats, though I'm smart enough to know when a cat doesn't feel like playing! I might be too rambunctious for small children, at least without strong supervision, or until I have learned to better control my energy. I have been in care for an extended period, because I contracted the dreaded Parvo Virus when I was younger. However, many thanks to the excellent care that I received from SCARS and their veterinary partners, I suffered no lasting ill effects of the virus, and have been fully recovered for some time.
