Hiiii! My name is Jenny and I am a year and a half old shepherd mix. I've been with my foster mom for about a month now and she says I am the most perfect dog ever! When I was a puppy I contracted the dreaded Parvo Virus but I received excellent care from our SCARS veterinary partners and have no lasting effects! But don't let that fool you because it hasn't stopped me from being a happy and bouncy girl. I have gotten so much better with my listening ears and my people greetings although it's a slow process that will still need to be upkept. I am fully housetrained and have gone over nine hours without having an accident! The only time I still have small accidents is when I'm meeting new people since that can be really exciting for me. My foster mom says I would do really good if I had a job like tracking or receiving although scent training with treats is my personal favorite. Because I have some shepherd in me I REALLY like running so a home with a big backyard would be best for me! I do however have a history of digging so I need to be supervised until I break the habit. I lOVE to play, whether it be with people, other dogs, and even some cats, I'm even smart enough to know when kitties don't really want to play with me! As much as I like other dogs, I can still be selective sometimes so a home with no other dogs or a confident male dog is needed. I am a little too rambunctious to be left unsupervised with small children, but with some more training I should get better at controlling my excitement around the mini humans! Do I sound like your next furry friend? Hit that Adopt Me button and come meet me to find out!
