My name is Sparky, and I’m officially on the lookout for my forever home. When I first arrived in SCARS care, I was struggling with some hind-end pain. Thanks to lots of love and great vet care, I’ve now been given a clean bill of health—and I’m SO ready to start the next chapter of my life with a family of my very own. I’m looking for a calm, adult-only home where I can feel safe and understood. I also need to be the only animal in the household. After everything I’ve been through, I think I’ve more than earned the right to soak up all the love, security, and affection for myself! I’m an active guy who loves to run and play, and fetch is one of my absolute favourite activities. I walk beautifully on leash and am always excited to head out on adventures and explore all the wonderful smells the world has to offer. At the end of the day, though, nothing makes me happier than curling up beside you on the couch and simply relaxing together. I will admit—it can take me a few meet-and-greets to fully warm up to new humans. But once I trust you, I am loyal, loving, and truly the best friend you could ever ask for.
