Meet Chance, a high energy, agile, large tabby. Mom thinks I’m part Bengal as I have many of the characteristics of a Bengal and I have a beautiful marble coat. I'm a naturally big muscular boy, but I do have a little extra weight to lose as recommended by my vet. Super smart, curious and active. I require interactive toys and climbing spots. I’m strictly an indoor cat, but I really love hanging out on the safety mesh-enclosed deck. I think of it as a super sized catio. I'm very affectionate and loving once I'm comfortable. I can be shy with unfamiliar people and need time to adjust to new surroundings. When visitors come over, I prefer to find a quiet place to hide and usually stay there until they've gone. With the people I know and trust though, I'm much more comfortable showing my affectionate side. I live with small dogs and another large cat like me, and we co-exist fine, but I am too rough for the small resident cat because of my play style. I'm not sure how I would be around kids as I've never experienced that. My ideal new home would be a household looking for an active, loving, engaging companion. Access to a catio or an outside enclosure if possible. A space with cat trees or vertical room for me to climb would be amazing. I love space and I love to run when I often get the zoomies.
