SCARS Vehicle Fundrasier!

Our current transport van is in rough shape and we’re in need of a new one!

A Lifeline on Wheels: Our Goal
We’re launching a
n urgent fundraising campaign to purchase a new, dependable transit van equipped for animal rescue. Our goal is to raise $70,000 to cover the cost of the vehicle and necessary modifications for animal transport.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Homes Alive Pets, all donations made through August 2025 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000! This means your contributio
n will have double the impact, bringing us closer to our goal of getting a new rescue van.

Hi there, my name is Murphy. I came into SCARS pretty skinny, but I have since gained my weight back and I am very healthy. When I need to use the bathroom, I will bark to let my caregivers know I need to go outside. I was so shy and nervous when I came into care, but I have since gained my confidence. I really love to go for walks where I am allowed to play in water and use my nose. I will need help on my manners a bit as i do jump when I see you as I am just so excited. I am also pretty playful and active. I would do well in an active home who likes to run or jog. I am looking for a cat free home and could do well with a female dog in the home, but I can be quite selective with my canine friends, so we would need to do several introductions with another pup. Or I could be a very happy solo dog as well. Do you have the time and patience to continue my training? Want a world of adventure that you can show me? I'd be eager to see and learn! So hit that Adopt me button so we can meet!
