Hi there! My name is Diesel, and I’m so excited to tell you about myself! I’m a sweet, laid-back guy who just wants to be with my people. If you’re up for snuggles, so am I—I’m the best snuggler around. When you’re petting me, I’ll lean right into you to soak up all the love. I like to think I’m a lap dog, even though I don’t exactly fit. But hey, that doesn’t stop me from trying! I love playing ball and having fun in the yard—it’s my favorite way to show off my goofy side. I’ve also been working on some commands! I know how to sit, roll over, shake a paw, and stay (though I’m still perfecting that last one). My foster mom says I’m super smart and a quick learner—I just want to make her happy. I’ve been a very good boy indoors, with no accidents at all. I’m not sure how I’d feel about cats, and right now, I’m the only dog in the house. But I think I could make friends with another dog if given the chance. On walks, I do get a bit excited when I see bigger dogs, but the little ones don’t bother me. And I’ll be honest—squirrels drive me absolutely bonkers, and I have some good muscle behind me, so I’ll need someone strong to hold onto my leash just in case! My foster family says I’m gentle and sweet with just the right amount of goofball energy. I’m also toy- and treat-motivated, which makes training fun for both of us!
