Hey there, I’m Diesel 4 years old | Getting fit & feeling good | Lover, not a fighter Life’s been a bit of a whirlwind lately. I spent some time in a kennel, which—no offense—wasn’t my favourite. I tried to be cool about it, but honestly, it wore me down. I just wanted a home—a couch, a person, a routine. Lucky for me, I’m now with a foster mom who brings me to her office, where I’m chill and calm all day. I’ve settled in so well, and I’m starting to feel like myself again—stronger, leaner (probably down about 10 lbs!), and smiling more. I’m intelligent and mostly quiet, but I’ll politely let you know if someone’s in the yard or the doorbell rings (looking at you, Amazon!). I’m starting to trust more and more—rolling onto my back for belly rubs is my new favourite thing. I might flinch if you touch me unexpectedly, but I’m never upset, just surprised. I’m good on the leash—no pulling toward people or making a fuss over other dogs. I might pick up the pace if a cat or squirrel catches my eye, but I’m still manageable and happy to keep moving. I’m enjoying longer and longer walks—sometimes I don’t even want to go back! I’m patient, content to be left alone if needed, great in the car, and I love trips to the river valley. I’m looking for a forever person who understands bigger dogs, is steady with boundaries, and won’t slip me snacks from the table (gotta keep this new physique!). If you’ve got dog experience and a whole lot of heart, I think we could be something special. So… got room for a loyal best friend who’s ready to come home for good?
