SCARS Vehicle Fundrasier!

Our current transport van is in rough shape and we’re in need of a new one!

A Lifeline on Wheels: Our Goal
We’re launching a
n urgent fundraising campaign to purchase a new, dependable transit van equipped for animal rescue. Our goal is to raise $70,000 to cover the cost of the vehicle and necessary modifications for animal transport.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Homes Alive Pets, all donations made through August 2025 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000! This means your contributio
n will have double the impact, bringing us closer to our goal of getting a new rescue van.

Update: Summer moved into a foster home on June 10—and she’s thriving! Hi! My name is Summer. I am a SCARS favourite. I love to snuggle and well as play! I am very affectionate and love getting attention from my people. I am very toy and food motivated. I do well on a leash and I enjoy going for walks. I ride well in the vehicle. I have some energy, but I can definitely chill out. I have done well with playful male dogs in my foster home. I would not do well with cats as I have a high prey drive. I wouldn't do well with toddlers. My adoption fee has been sponsored. The sponsor wants the people who adopt me to invest in setting me up for success. A note from my caretakers: Summer is looking for her forever home. Summer is good with dogs, but needs proper introductions as she is a rude greeter. She would do well in a home with a playful and tolerant male dog - or as a solo companion. Summer is not good with cats. She would likely be okay with older kids, but she would be too much for young kiddos. We have sponsored Summer's adoption fee in hopes that her future adopters can use what they would have paid in an adoption fee towards setting her up for success. Do you think Summer might be a match for your family? If so, please apply. If not, please share so we can find this lovely lady a home of her own.
