Ivy is a high-energy girl with a heart of gold! She came to SCARS after being left at the pound and is now eagerly awaiting her forever home. She has now been in our care for over 950 days… 😞😞😞 One of Ivy's most endearing qualities is her adorable hop she does when she gets excited – it's guaranteed to bring a smile to your face! ❤️ Ivy's Ideal Home ❤️Ivy needs a home without other female dogs, as she can sometimes become overly fixated on them. 😎She'd thrive as the only queen of the castle, soaking up all the attention and love. ❤️no cats 💯She hasn't been tested with children, so slow and careful introductions would be required. Training & Personality ❤️Ivy loves treats and is learning to take them nicely! ❤️She's already mastered the 'sit' command but would benefit from ongoing obedience training to help her become the best girl she can be. She's a smart cookie and eager to please. Ivy adores leash walks and exploring the great outdoors. She's a big fan of playing in puddles (splash!) and rolling around in long grass – pure joy! She is house trained, which is a huge plus, and absolutely loves playing with toys, especially when she gets to play with people.
