Hi all! Frankie here....STILL! That's right, I've been in care for FAR TOO LONG! My foster family says I'm such a good boy and they would keep me in a heartbeat if they didn't have cats. I, unfortunately, do not love the little, pointy-eared creatures. I would love to be your hiking or running partner! I walk like a dream on leash and LOVE training. Among others, I know "sit, "down, "wait, "spin, "touch, and "go to bed. Did you say TREATS?! I'm hoping to meet someone experienced, that wants to work with me every day and keep my mind and body active with tricks, training, and of course exercise! Someone who has experience with, or is willing to attend training with me, for dogs with resource guarding and displaced/redirected aggression tendencies would be ideal. I can have problems sharing things with my foster sister, such as food, treats, and sometimes even my space. I think I would do best as a solo dog in the home; however, I do love other dogs in neutral environments and have gone on many successful leashed-walks with accompanying dogs, without incident. I also play well under supervision with another dog in a controlled environment, toys are the one thing I love to share! I will never be a dog-park dog, as I can get overstimulated with the chase and all that room to run! Knowing I have my quirks, my foster family says I would make the PERFECT companion dog for an experienced dog owner! I am the BIGGEST snugglebug and will happily crawl into bed with you or lounge on the couch for Sunday football. I am crate and house trained and will make the best addition to your home!
