At 4.5 years old, Chucky is a stunning Shepherd mix with one of the most beautiful coats you’ve ever seen — seriously, this guy is a head-turner! But behind the good looks is a fun-loving, energetic pup who’s ready to find a forever home that truly understands him. Chucky has some classic shepherd traits — he’s athletic, intelligent, and absolutely loves to run and play, especially with his beloved soccer and spikey balls (don’t worry, he’ll bring them with him to his new home!). A large, fully fenced yard is a must for this guy to safely burn off energy and enjoy his favorite games. When it comes to manners, Chucky has great leash skills and responds very well to correction when handled by someone confident and dog-savvy. He travels like a pro in the car — uncrated and calm — and if you let him, he might just take over as your official passenger princess. Chucky can be a bit mouthy when excited, so a home with mature kids 10+ is recommended to keep everyone happy and safe. He’s also a bit particular when it comes to other animals — cats and male dogs are a no-go, and while he has made some female dog friends, it’s only been after very slow, supervised introductions. For these reasons, Chucky would thrive best as the only pet in the home. Whether he’s diving head-first into a snowbank, taking a dip in the pool, or simply hanging out with his favorite people, Chucky brings a ton of joy and energy to every moment. He just needs the right home to help channel all that fun in the right direction. Looking for a loyal, playful, and totally lovable companion with a big personality? Chucky might just be your guy. Come meet him — he’s ready to be your one and only.
