SCARS Vehicle Fundrasier!

Our current transport van is in rough shape and we’re in need of a new one!

A Lifeline on Wheels: Our Goal
We’re launching a
n urgent fundraising campaign to purchase a new, dependable transit van equipped for animal rescue. Our goal is to raise $70,000 to cover the cost of the vehicle and necessary modifications for animal transport.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Homes Alive Pets, all donations made through August 2025 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000! This means your contributio
n will have double the impact, bringing us closer to our goal of getting a new rescue van.

Hello, yes I am as sweet as I look. I am a pitti cross about 70lbs. They think I am about 2 years old. I am very friendly but a little shy at first. I lived with kids, cats and other dogs and was good with them all. I would like a home with older kids since I can get excited and knock the little ones down easily. I love attention and love to cuddle. I am great off leash, not used to a leash but I'm not bad. I am house trained. I will be a great companion for the right home.

I'm a Sanctuary Animal

What's a sanctuary animal? Sanctuary animals are permanent wards of SCARS due to medical conditions or behavioral issues and we are not likely to ever find an adoptive family. SCARS is committed to giving these animals a home and the love, care and attention they deserve! We house them at our two main intake facilities. We look to businesses to sponsor Sanctuary Animals to help us offset the cost of housing them. Click here learn more about our Sanctuary Animals
Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
