SCARS Vehicle Fundrasier!

Our current transport van is in rough shape and we’re in need of a new one!

A Lifeline on Wheels: Our Goal
We’re launching a
n urgent fundraising campaign to purchase a new, dependable transit van equipped for animal rescue. Our goal is to raise $70,000 to cover the cost of the vehicle and necessary modifications for animal transport.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Homes Alive Pets, all donations made through August 2025 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000! This means your contributio
n will have double the impact, bringing us closer to our goal of getting a new rescue van.

I've worked hard to get to this point. I am a shepherd cross. When I first arrived at SCARS I was so scared. I just hid in a corner and was scared of everyone.Today I am eager to go on my walks on or off leash and greet my people with excitement. I'm still shy with strangers but not too bad. I walked into the vet clinic and let the staff handle me like a trooper. I have been good with other dogs but I need a home with another social female to continue to teach me to be brave. I'm not used to city life so looking for a fenced acreage.
