Hello everyone. Just checking in with you. I'm an older cat with a ruff past. Due to frost bite and parasites-ear mites which are now gone, I suffer from what you humans cauliflower ear and I'm battling a nasty infection. Due to the Scaring and my diabetes it makes it that much harder for me to fight off the infection. I go back to the vet this weekend to see if we can try some different medications so we can get ahead of this. I also have a heart murmur and a few very bad teeth. The dr said surgery isn't a good idea with my combination of medical issues. Now just like Anna please don't feel sorry for me. I don't feel sorry for myself. I'm happy and I enjoying eating very much and I'm a good boy for my twice a day shots for my diabetes. I have a pate food and diabetes special dry food diet and that seems to be the best for me. My diabetes is under control now and I just have to get this ear infection sorted out. Then maybe I'll have some more energy in my day. I'll keep you posted. Nothing can be done about my heart murmur it is what it is. Some More excerise in day wouldn't hurt so once I can a good ear again I'm gonna start a workout plan.
