Meet Homie!
Homie | 7-year-old Male
Looking for a loyal companion who appreciates the simple things in life? Homie might just be your guy!
Homie is a friendly fellow who dreams of a cozy couch, a loving human, and plenty of opportunities to get out and sniff the world. He’s happiest when he can enjoy life’s little pleasures, especially snuggling up with his favourite people.
Homie does struggle with separation and confinement anxiety. When left alone or confined, he can become distressed, destructive, and has been known to break out of crates. He’s currently on medication to help manage his anxiety, and he’ll need a home willing to continue supporting him and helping him feel safe.
He can also be barrier-reactive around other dogs, but there’s a different side to Homie! He’s comfortable walking past other dogs while on leash, showing that his reactions can be very context-dependent.
Homie is looking for a patient, understanding home that can provide structure, consistency, and reassurance while respecting his needs.
His dream home? A comfy couch, a human to call his own, leisurely sniffy adventures, and lots of love.
Could Homie be your new best friend? ❤️
