After a rough start to life, things are looking up! I was found in a ditch, with a big head injury - I had a big pocket of swelling on top of my head, had trouble balancing and walking, and I couldn't see well enough to find my food bowl when my foster mom would put it in front of me. I had a break in my tail, some road rash, and was skin and bones. To top it all off, I had a big hernia that needed to be surgically repaired. But look at me now! My balance and vision are much better, and the swelling on my head is all gone. I'm ready to find my forever family - I'm looking for a family who will help me grow into a dog with good manners and will help me feel confident outside. Because I spent so much time inside avoiding stimulation so my brain could heal, I haven't spent much time outside. Now that I have some puppy energy back, I like playing tug of war with my husky friend and chewing on my toys.
