Meet Ducky 💕🐾 Hey there, I’m Ducky! I came to SCARS about a month ago, and I’m now settling into my foster home. When we first meet, I might be a little shy, but just offer me a treat and we’ll be friends in no time! Once I get to know you, my sweet and affectionate personality really shines. I’m happiest when I’m with my people. One of my favourite things is snuggling up with my head resting on your lap. I also love going for walks and I’m a good girl on leash. When I’m not out exploring, you’ll often find me soaking up the sunshine — sunbathing is definitely one of my favourite pastimes! ☀️ I don’t mind young children, and I’ve been great with my foster mom’s young grandchildren. I’m also crate trained and sleep happily in my crate at night. I’m house trained, too, and if I need to go outside during the night, I’ll make sure my foster mom knows. I’m learning my manners and working on commands like sit and lay down. I’m eager to learn and would love a family who will continue helping me grow and showing me just how wonderful being a loved dog can be. I may be a little shy at first, but give me a little time, a few treats, and some love, and you’ll see what a special girl I am. Just look into my puppy-dog eyes… and try not to fall in love with me. I dare you! 💗🐶
