Hi there! I'm Picante, a goofy and entertaining house panther. I was given my name because I was thought to be a little spicy, but I've rapidly leaned in to all that being a domestic kitty entails and am loving the attention bestowed upon me in my foster home. I'm now more a sweet "pecan pie" than a spicy "picante"! I love to be picked up and cuddled, I have the loudest purr. I'm still a young lad and get the zoomies when playing with my toys. I'm a pro in the litter box and I'm getting the hang of using the scratching post to keep my nails in good shape. I'm still getting used to some of the sounds and activities of a busy household, and will greet new situations with a little hiss to tell you I'm scared, followed by immediate purring again. Foster mom tells me that "hisses get kisses", which is fine by me. A home without young kids might be best, so that I don't get scared and hide myself away.
