Meet Daisy Mae! Daisy Mae is looking for a patient and understanding family to help her find her confidence and become the best version of herself. Unfortunately, Daisy Mae’s family was unable to bring her along when they moved to their new home, so she came into care with us at SCARS. She previously lived in a home with a one-year-old baby, and she absolutely loves being part of a family. At heart, Daisy Mae is a total cuddle bug and a certified couch potato. Her favourite place is right beside her people, soaking up all the love and snuggles she can get! Daisy Mae does have a few things she is still working through. She struggles with separation anxiety, leash manners, and reactivity toward other dogs. Because of this, she will need a patient home that understands that progress takes time and is willing to continue working with her through positive, consistent training. Daisy Mae has so much love to give, and underneath her challenges is a young dog who simply wants to feel safe, loved, and connected to her people. She is looking for someone who will celebrate her successes, support her through the hard moments, and give her the time she needs to grow. If you're looking for a loving companion who would happily spend her days curled up beside you on the couch, Daisy Mae might just be your girl.
