Meet Dori! Dori is a gorgeous 2-year-old black-and-white Mastiff mix. She is an affectionate, playful girl who absolutely loves connecting with the people around her. She has a wonderful way of making you feel like you’re her favourite person in the whole world. Dori’s story is one of resilience. She was found at a dump with her three puppies. Tragically, two of her puppies did not survive parvo. Dori made it through those difficult beginnings, and now she’s ready for something every dog deserves, a safe home, a loving family, and a chance to simply be a dog. One of Dori’s great qualities is that she walks well on a leash, making her a lovely companion for getting out and enjoying the world together. She’s also still learning a few important manners. Because she loves her people so much, Dori can be a little demanding when she wants attention. She’s working on learning that patience and polite behaviour are the best ways to earn those cuddles and scratches she adores. With consistency, positive reinforcement, and a little patience, she’s sure to keep making progress. At two years old, Dori is past the tiny-puppy stage but still has plenty of playful energy and personality to share. And with her Mastiff heritage, she brings that wonderfully substantial presence — a whole lot of dog wrapped around a whole lot of love! Dori has overcome so much already. Now she’s waiting for someone who will show her just how wonderful life can be. She’s looking for a family who will appreciate her affectionate nature while helping her continue to learn and grow into the best version of herself. If you have room in your heart for a big, beautiful girl, Dori would love to meet you. Could you be the family she’s been waiting for?
