Meet Bob! Bob is only one year old, but he already has a lifetime of grit to show for himself. After being abandoned at a fire station with extensive injuries, SCARS was able to step in and get him the veterinary care he desperately needed. After being assessed by the veterinary team, Bob underwent FHO (femoral head ostectomy) surgery to help him recover from his injuries. Now, this gentle boy is beginning the next chapter of his journey: healing, rebuilding his strength, and learning that he is finally safe. Despite everything he has experienced, Bob is an incredibly sweet, loving, and gentle dog. He has a soft heart and loves being around people. His kind nature makes it hard not to root for this special boy. Bob's recovery will take time, and he is looking for a patient and understanding home that can support him throughout his rehabilitation. His new family will need to be prepared to follow his veterinary care plan, keep him appropriately rested while he heals, and celebrate his progress along the way. Bob has already shown just how resilient he is. Now he deserves a family who will give him the patience, compassion, and love he needs to heal and discover what a happy life can look like. Bob's past may have been difficult, but his future can be filled with love.
