Meet Scruffy! 🐾 Breed: Poodle Mix Background: Came in as a stray Personality: Gentle, resilient, sweet, and growing more confident every day! About Scruffy Look at that handsome, scruffy face and happy smile! Scruffy came to us as a stray, but since being in our care, he has come such a long way. Every single day, his sweet personality shines brighter as he grows more confident and learns how wonderful life can be. What Makes Scruffy Special Leash Manners Master: Scruffy walks beautifully on leash, making daily strolls a breeze! Great Co-Pilot: He is fantastic in the car and loves tagging along for rides. Crate Trained: He feels safe and settled in his crate when it's time to rest. Warm-Up Extraordinaire: He can be a little shy at first and takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, but once he knows you’re a friend, his sweet nature comes right out. Ideal Home Companionship: Scruffy doesn't like being alone for long periods, so he’d thrive in a home where someone is around often or works from home to give him the love and reassurance he enjoys. Family Setup: He would do wonderful with older, calmer children who can respect his boundaries while he warms up. Other Pets: Scruffy gets along well with calmer, gentle dogs. High-energy or pushy dogs can overwhelm him, so a quiet furry friend (or being your one-and-only) would suit him best. Health Care: He is currently working through some minor skin issues and will need an adopter willing to stay on top of his care so he stays feeling his absolute best. Ready to open your heart to Scruffy?
