Hi! My name is Morley, and I'm a very clever, cute, and sweet little puppy. No one knows exactly what breed I am, but I like to think I'm a mix of all the very best things! My foster mom thinks I'll grow into a large-sized dog. I have a beautiful white coat with lovely fawn markings, a sweet black puppy nose, and the softest little ears. I've only been with my foster mom for a week, but I've already been working so hard and learning so many new things! So far I've mastered sit, come, down, wait (I sit and wait politely before going through doors and before eating my meals), and shake a paw. I'm also learning to bark to let my foster mom know when I need to go outside for a potty break. Speaking of potty training... I'm making amazing progress! I'm learning that outside is the place to go, and my accidents have already decreased by about 90%. I'm not completely there yet (I'm still just a baby) but with consistency and a routine, I'm getting better every single day. I'm a playful puppy who loves to play tug and explore the world around me. I've met several dogs so far and have enjoyed every one I've met, though I can be a little nervous at first once we meet and sniff; I am happy to play. I haven't been introduced to cats yet, but because I'm still so young, with slow introductions and a dog-savvy cat, I should do just fine. I've also met children and did an excellent job! When my foster mom asked me to lie down, I happily relaxed so everyone could give me lots of gentle pets. I have a sweet temperament and love meeting new people. Everyone comments on how cute, soft and wiggly I am. Like all puppies my age, I'm in the teething stage, so having plenty of appropriate things to chew is very important. Some of my favourite chews are Nylabones, frozen Kongs, rubber chew rings, bully sticks, and dog-safe natural wood chews. Sometimes I can get a little mouthy during play because my teeth are bothering me, but I'm very easily redirected to one of my toys or chews. Even though I love to play, I also know how to relax. I absolutely love cuddling and will happily snuggle right into you when I'm sleepy. I'm also doing wonderfully with my kennel! I sleep through the night in my crate like the good girl I am, especially if I have a chew to keep me busy while I settle down. During the day, my foster mom goes to her big-girl job, and I stay safely in my puppy pen. She comes home at lunchtime to let me out, and over the past couple of days I've been nearly accident-free while she's away! I'm looking for a family that understands that puppies take time, patience, and continued training. I've already shown that I love to learn and am eager to please, and with continued positive reinforcement, I'm going to grow into an amazing companion.
