Hi, my name is Oreo! I’m a Shih Tzu cross, approximately 2 years old.
My foster mom says I’m a very sweet, gentle girl. I’m quite timid, but I absolutely love being close to my people and feel happiest when I’m with them.
I’m still learning all about life in a home. I’m not fully house trained yet, and I’m very scared of being on a leash, so I haven’t been out for walks yet. Everything is new to me, and I just need someone willing to help me build my confidence at my own pace.
A confident, friendly dog could help show me the ropes, but it’s not a requirement. What I really need is a patient family who understands that trust takes time.
My dream home would be with someone who’s retired or works from home—someone who has the time to help me feel safe and loved.
