Hi, I'm Hera! Yes, I'm a 100% little black furball. No, I'm not bad luck — in fact, the opposite. I was saved by SCARS, so I think that means I'm pretty lucky. I haven't had the easiest first few years. I was seriously underweight when I was rescued. The good news? I love my Delectable treats, so I shouldn't have any problem putting on weight over time. I'm still pretty tiny for my age, but that just means I can fit all of myself into your arms or on your lap — one of my favorite places to be. I'm currently living with a male resident cat in my foster home. At first I was leery, but after two days, I realized he didn't deserve my swats — now we get along pretty well. I haven't experienced dogs yet, but I think I could be friends with them too, given the right introduction and some patience, just until I know they won't eat me, at least. Because of my history, head scratches are my love language, but every day I'm getting more comfortable with full-body pets too. I'm getting used to having a collar on as well. The bell freaked me out at first, and I zoomied all over the house wondering where that noise was coming from. Then I realized it was just me. I'm hoping there's someone out there looking for their forever friend — who will help me get to a healthy weight, and who will never turn down my cuddles.
