Hi everyone! I figured it was time for an update! 🐾 Now that I’m feeling healthy and getting back to my best self, my foster mom has discovered that I’m a higher-energy pup who likes to stay busy! I’ll do best with a family who can keep both my body and my mind active. Walks, playtime, training, enrichment, and plenty of activities to keep my busy brain occupied will help me be the happiest version of myself. I’m always ready for my next adventure! I’ve even been learning to chase a frisbee! I’m pretty good at the chasing part… but I’m still working on that whole “bring it back” thing. Apparently, that’s an important part of the game! 😂 I love to play with everyone, and while I’m making progress, I’m still learning that using my teeth during play isn’t always appropriate. I could also really benefit from having a confident, playful doggy friend who can help teach me proper play manners. My current foster sister tries her best, but sometimes I’m just a little too much for her! I’ll need a dog playmate who enjoys an energetic play session and can help show me the ropes. I’ll need continued patience, consistency, and positive training to help me learn when it’s time to play, when it’s time to settle, and how to be the best doggy companion I can be. I may have had a rough start, but I haven’t let that stop me from being playful, friendly, and full of life. I’m looking for a patient and loving family who will continue helping me learn, keep me busy, give me lots of love, and be there for me as I continue to grow and thrive.
