My name is Riley, and I’m hoping my forever family is out there. I’m still waiting for a couple of final touches before I’m completely ready—I need my microchip and one tooth removed—but I wanted to get my profile out there because I can’t wait to meet my people. My journey hasn’t been the easiest. I was treated for FIP, and I’m currently in my recovery period. I’m doing well, but like many cats, I also have feline herpes. The stress of being rescued and moving into foster care has been a little hard on my immune system, so my foster family and veterinarian are keeping a close eye on me. I’ve had a recent vet check and my vaccines are all up to date. Despite everything, I’m such a sweet boy. I absolutely love being petted! I can be a little shy when someone first approaches me and might wander off, but if you catch me during one of my naps, I’ll happily soak up all the cuddles you want to give. As I continue to settle into a home where I feel safe and loved, I’m sure my confidence will keep growing.
