🐾 Meet Andy! 🐾
Andy is one of the five pups that came into our care 2 months ago as quilled strays. When he first came into care, he was very unsure of the world around him, but he has made great progress and continues to grow more confident every day.
Andy now walks nicely on a leash and is learning his basic manners, including sit. While he’s still a quiet, shy boy who can be a little unsure in new situations, a patient, calm introduction is all he needs to start showing his sweet personality.
Andy is very food motivated, which makes him eager to learn and a wonderful candidate for continued training. With positive reinforcement he’ll continue to build confidence and form a strong bond with his person.
Andy would also do well with a confident, friendly, female canine companion to help show him the ropes, but he would also be happy as the only dog in a patient home that’s committed to continue his confidence-building.
Andy is looking for a loving home that will give him the time, patience and the encouragement he needs to keep blossoming into the amazing dog we know he can be! ❤️
