Do you want someone to walk with you ?... I am your Pup Do you want someone to sleep with?... I am your Pup Do you want someone as smart as a whip? …I am your Pup Do you want someone to explore with?... I am your Pup Do you want someone you can leave at home while you run errands…I am your Pup What more can I say… well, lots actually…but it could take a while. Knuckles (who does not know his name yet) is a sweet, loving, gentle, timid, smart, house-trained 10-month-old pup. At 40 lbs, he is the perfect size for an apartment or house. He is learning “Come,” “Down,” and ”Wait”. I can take food out of his mouth that he might pick up on our walks, but the same can not be said for other dogs…He is resource guarding at the moment ( not aggressively but vocally) and may do best in a home without other dogs or with a gentle dog that can show him the ropes. He also has a prey drive while on walks for rabbits, cats, and birds, but can be redirected quite easily. I think Knuckles will make an excellent companion for someone who can work with him calmly and quietly and not rush. He has so much potential for a dog with a job…he is just too intelligent to sit around home all day.
