Hello world, Nikki here and I am finally ready to meet my forever family. I was very sick with Parvo when I came into care. Like really sick, at the vet, on IV, feeling absolutely awful. Thankfully I beat that yucky virus with the help of my veterinary care team. I have been in quarantine and recovery for just over a month and I am feeling much, much better. I have a new lease on life. I am a higher energy girl. I love to play, play, play and go, go, go. I am not a fan of cats, so better off without them in my future home. I love other dogs and people. I haven't met little humans yet, but there is no indication that I wouldn't like them. I am however very busy and have a lot of manners to learn, so that would be a consideration if you have little ones in your home. I am working on not jumping up and my leash manners, but will need some consistent lessons to continue to grow these skills. My favorite things to do are stuffy deconstruction, chasing toys, and playing tug. My foster home says I am really beautiful with my striking tigerstripe/brindle coat, happy smile and expressive ears - I am inclined to agree. I think we should meet. The sooner the better, I am soooo ready to leap into the next stage of my exciting life.
