Hello! I’m Nugget. 🐾 If you’re looking for a best friend who will happily be there for life’s everyday moments, then I think we should meet. I’m about a year and a half old, and I’ve decided that life is pretty great. Walks? Love them. Snacks? Absolutely. Being wherever my humans are? That’s my favourite. Every morning I greet my foster mom with a happy tail wag, and I do the very same thing when she comes home from work. It’s my favourite way of saying, “I’m so glad you’re back!” When we get home, you’ll usually find me stretched out on the floor nearby. I don’t need to be in your lap—I just like knowing we’re hanging out together. I’ve been told I’m pretty easy to live with. I’m fully house trained, kennel trained, and have good manners around the house. I’m perfectly happy relaxing by your feet, and I leave the furniture and kitchen counters for the humans. When it’s time for a walk, I’m your guy! I stroll nicely on leash and don’t spend my walks arguing with every dog we pass. I’m great with kids, cats, and other dogs, and I genuinely enjoy meeting new people. I’m the kind of dog who’s happy to make a new friend without feeling the need to throw a full-body party every time someone says hello. Mostly, though, I’m just looking for someone to do life with. Someone who wants a loyal walking buddy, a quiet shadow around the house, and a best friend who thinks coming home to you is the best part of every day.
