Alaska aka Miss Kay, is a stunning 1.5-year-old domestic short hair with the most stunning green eyes. She came into care alongside two other mama cats and a shared litter of kittens, and while she’s done an amazing job raising the babies, she’s now ready to find a calm, understanding home of her own. Since entering foster care, Miss Kay has shown herself to be incredibly sweet, but also a bit shy and unsure in new environments. She’s the kind of girl who prefers to take things at her own pace, she’ll come to you when she’s ready, and when she does, it makes those quiet moments of trust feel extra special. Patience is key with this little lady, but the reward is a gentle, affectionate companion who just needs a little time to feel safe. Alaska would thrive in a quieter home, either as the only pet or with a confident, easygoing cat who can help her build confidence and show her the ropes. Once she settles in, her personality starts to shine in the cutest ways. She’s a big fan of cozying up directly in front of the heater (because clearly, all warmth belongs to her), and she takes her treat-hunting very seriously—those snacks might try to escape, after all. And of course, like any true cat, she enjoys serenading the household with the songs of her people… especially around 4 a.m. when the heater dares to turn off.
