Hi! My name is Brooke, but my foster family calls me Princess Sparkle Paws, or Monkey Butt. I am a lucky kitten because I was surrendered to Scars after being attacked by a dog who tried to eat me. The vet fixed up the big bite I had on my leg, and I have recovered really well in my foster hone. Foster mom says pictures don’t do me justice! I am a little tabby with lots of pretty orange stripes mixed in with all the other colours. I am not yet full grown. But even better than my good looks is my great purrsonality! I love people! I like to hang out with my foster family and am excellent at supervising all computer and laundry work. I have a gentle and sweet nature. I have quite the vocabulary, and as well as my high pitched squeaky meows, have a whole repertoire of trills and silent meows. And best of all is my purr! I’m always purring if you’re petting me and chatting to me. Unless I see a dog!! Given my traumatic experience of nearly being eaten, dogs freak me out a little. However, a huge dog lives in my foster home, and she’s more afraid of me than I am of her. Foster mom says I’m making great progress, and am getting less reactive every day. Even other cats scare me a bit, but foster mom says that because I’m brave and young, I would likely be fine with a cat or dog friend, if they have the right personality & promise not to eat me. I have excellent litter box habits, and I’m getting really good at using the scratching post (although I still make mistakes now and then on the furniture, but I’m learning).
