Hi… I’m Mac. I’m about 8 years old now, which I think is the perfect age—I’ve outgrown all that chaotic kitten business and mastered the art of loving my humans properly. And trust me, I really love my humans. Attention? Yes please. Pets, cuddles, sitting close by—I’m happiest when I’m with you. I’ll be honest though… I can be a little sensitive. Big changes and new environments make me nervous, and I might seem a bit skittish when we first meet. New people can be a lot for me. But give me just a little time and a gentle approach, and I warm up quicker than you might expect. Once I know I’m safe, my sweet and affectionate side really shines. I’ve lived with other cats before, but I do like to take my time getting to know them. Slow introductions are the way to my heart. Dogs, though? I’d really rather not—I’ll pass on those, thank you. Oh—and something important about me: I used to be an indoor/outdoor kind of guy. I really enjoy having some safe access to the outdoors, whether that’s a secure yard, a catio, or supervised time outside. There’s just something about fresh air and sunshine that makes me feel like myself. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion and you’re willing to give me a little patience while I settle in, I promise I’ll be right by your side, soaking up all the love you have to give.
