Hello I am Moxie!

I am in search of my forever home! Is that with you? Well, let see… I am a 6 year old female, medium size Golden Doodle who loves to chase my orange ball, a squawking rubber chicken, puzzle toys and most importantly once I attach to my humans I literally attach. I will be your loyal companion to any adventure as long as you allow me the time to adjust.

I would do best with older and respectful children who know how to give space and understand, sometimes a girl just needs her beauty rest. I can be a solo dog and make the best walking companion to any adventure, whether it be a stroll in the neighbourhood, a walk in the park, beach or lake.

I am not fond of noisy, loud, or chaotic environments - it actually scares me and makes me nervous.

I wouldn’t do well left alone for long periods of time and my ideal home is a home where my humans are home and have the time to include me in their lives.

I am dog confident but people shy, so slow intros are best to help me adjust. Speaking of dogs, I am a calm, dog friendly female who loves getting all the attention and could have a dog sibling as long as my new sibling accepts my velcro attachment to my new humans.

Cats? Not sure, as I have not been around them.

Car rides? A bit scary but I am a big girl and do well in my foster Mom’s back seat (leashed strapped for safety of course! ) Crate? Not so fond of them. I prefer a comfy bed where I can spread and stretch.

I will require help with learning some basic skills and house manners however i am the whole package beauty and brains so with some repetition, patience, positive encouragement and tasty treats I accept the challenge!

Now let’s talk about my coat. As you know it requires regular maintenance to keep me mat free so regular brushing is a must- it can be our bonding time! Add regular grooming appointments and then voila I am ready for the world😊
