Meet Tuski! Tuski is a 9-month-old Great Pyrenees who is still learning to navigate the world with confidence. This handsome young boy can be timid at first, but with patience, encouragement, and a little help from his canine friends, he is slowly discovering that there’s nothing to be afraid of. Tuski is friendly with both people and other dogs. He is currently learning how to walk on a leash and feels most comfortable when he has another dog walking alongside him. Having a confident canine companion gives Tuski the reassurance he needs to explore his surroundings and try new things. Because of this, Tuski would thrive in a home where he can regularly socialize with other friendly dogs and continue learning from his four-legged friends. His ideal family will understand that confidence takes time and will give him the patience and support he needs to blossom. Tuski came into care with his mom and brother after tragically losing his sister when she was fatally hit by a car. Despite such a difficult start to life, Tuski remains a sweet and gentle boy who is ready for someone to show him just how good life can be. At only 9 months old, Tuski has his whole life ahead of him. With the right family we know this timid boy has the potential to grow into a wonderful, loving companion.
