Hi! I’m Leila 💕 I’m a 4-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog mix, and I’m already a big girl at around 50 lbs — and still growing! I may be headed toward “giant breed” status, but don’t let my size fool you… I’m a beautiful, gentle, loving girl through and through. When I first arrived, I was a little shy, but I’m gaining confidence every single day. I live with a foster brother who’s a bit bigger than me (for now!), and we absolutely love to play together. I have met the cats and I'm cautious around them. I’m always happy to see people and have excellent manners — I keep all four paws on the ground like a proper girl. I’m very food motivated, which makes training lots of fun! I already know how to sit, lay down and give my paw, and I’ve learned that toys are wonderful for playing with and tossing around. Right now, I’m working on leash training and house training. If foster mom gets me outside quick enough after naps, no accidents in the house. I’m a smart girl, so I know I’ll have it figured out in no time. I’m semi house trained - if foster mom gets me outside after my naps and I sleep quietly in my kennel overnight. While I enjoy being outside, I also love coming in to relax on a big, cozy dog bed. I may grow into a giant, but a gentle-natured sweetheart. Whoever adopts me is going to be very lucky to have a loyal companion and best friend for all of life’s adventures.
