Hello… I’m Melissa 🐾 I’m an adorable little girl that is starting to see that a warm home and yummy food is a pretty nice way to live. I am still unsure of humans but I see how much my sister Amara likes them, so I am getting curious about those things called chin scratches. For now, I am keeping my distance and if you get a little too close too fast, I will give you a tiny bop with my paw. No claws — just me saying, “No thanks, please try again later”. I’m not definitely not mean though… I’m just slowly learning to be brave. My foster mom says I am going to turn into a loyal little side kick in no time. I don’t have to be adopted with my sister her but I definitely feel more safe when she’s near. Or, if you have another friendly cat, that would be great too! Fun Fact- Did you know that only 20% of orange cats are female? I think that’s makes me pretty special. If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t mind earning your cuddles at first —we might be perfect for each other.
