Hi! My name is Hollywood. I am a big, laid back, handsome and lovey guy looking for a home where I can enjoy the good life. I was living a tough life of survival on the streets when SCARS took me in, and now I am benefitting from the joys of good food, TLC, and home life. I’m like a completely new guy! I am a nice mix of independent and loving. I like to follow people around to see what they are doing, but I don’t get in the way. I love a good snuggle on the couch and have recently learned about the joys of sleeping with people on big comfy beds. I don’t talk constantly, but when I do, I am loud and have a lot of things to say. I also have a cute snore and a very quiet purr. Since coming into foster care, I’ve gone from being a beat up Tom Cat to a fancy civilized guy. My coat is getting nice and soft, and I’m learning about good house manners. I have learned to use a litter box, and I’m still figuring out scratching posts. The cats I’m living with in foster care are not very nice to me, and it kind of hurts my feelings! Foster mom thinks I’d like a cat friend if they were nice to me. When the resident girls are mean to me, I just ignore them. I’m a little afraid of the big dog who lives here, but I think with time I’d learn to be friends with a dog if it didn’t try to hurt me. I love getting pets and being brushed, but once in a while, if you touch me in a way I don’t like, I let you know by giving you a nip. It doesn’t happen often, but because of this I’d probably be better off without young kids in the house. I don’t mind being picked up, and I am always super happy to see my foster family when they come home. Do I sound like the kind of guy who is a perfect fit for you?
